Walk Day Information--

This year’s walk marks the 3rd annual Walk for Autism sponsored by William Blount High School and Heritage High School members of the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club. In the past, proceeds have gone to Autism Speaks™, a national organization dedicated to research of autism spectrum disorders.

This year some of the proceeds will go to Wilderwood Service Dogs Organization located in Blount County. This organization rescues potential service dogs, matches them with an experienced trainer, and then spends months preparing the dog to live in the home and assist a child with autism. Be sure to check out the service dogs on the day of the walk! Clinch on the link for Wilderwood Service Dogs to learn more about this organization.
